So much to say about Alice Lemcke! She moved to Valley Park about the same time my family did... I was six years old!
What I remember the most? The Sunflower Painting by Vincent Van Gough! It was a piece that greeted you as you walked in the door.
Both of Alice's children are special to me. Paul, played the organ at my wedding in 1972 and Martha is a chef! Both children were staples at our house, right across the street!
In the past two years, both Alice and Al have been there for my mother, Elsie Ross, who lost my dad two years ago June 28!
