We would like to extend our deepest condolences to Joy and family. Our love and prayers as you go through these difficult times. From our very first trip together many years ago Gary became a friend. We soon learned he had a great sense of humor and a sincere kindness that is very rare. He became a beloved part of our lives. Even though he has gone to a better place, he will always be missed by us. He will always be in our hearts and in our thoughts and in our memories of times shared. Love and blessings to you all.

Joy & Family,
I was sad to learn of Gary's passing but know that he is with the Lord. I have such fond memories of the Shoemaker's summer trips to Boston and our trips to Pennsville. It was always special and memorable to get together with our cousins, aunts and uncles.
May God's blessings be with all of you during this difficult time. Your are in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. I worked with him in Mechanical Construction in the 1990s at Chambers Works. The last time I saw him was either January or February at Pennsville Acme right before a snowstorm. We chatted a few minutes and then went about our shopping. He was such a nice man, always polite yet outspoken. He surely will be missed by those who knew him, including me. Please accept my condolences.

Joy, you've been in my prayers since I heard about your loss. I'm still in shock. You've had way too much in such a short time. But I know you have an amazing faith and the good Lord will be with you. You were blessed with a wonderful love that many never experience. I'm sure that makes it even harder. My heart goes out to your whole family. God bless.

Dear Shoemaker Family, at this time of sorrow, tender are your hearts.
Gary was a wonderful man, a true gentleman, and possessed a kind heart, not many can claim.
Tall in stature, He walked with the Lord, this we know.
Please accept my sincere condolences and my son's sympathies.
