Frank W. Beatty, Jr., age 70 of Pennsville, died Monday March 3, 2014 at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. He was born in Salem and was the son of the late Frank W. Beatty, Sr., and Frances M. Bright Beatty. Frank was a lifelong Pennsville resident and was a member of the 2nd graduating class of the Pennsville Memorial High School. Frank retired as a supervisor for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, was president and member of the Pennsville Fishing Club, and member of Salem County Marine Corps League. He enjoyed his family, hunting fishing, gardening, cooking and Sea Isle City, NJ. Survived by his wife Victoria S. Meogrossi Beatty, children, Terry Fender (Gary), Carol Beatty, Frank Beatty, III ,(Lori), Robert Beatty and Amber Beatty (Thomas Hearn), stepchildren, Dean Riddle, Jr. and Scott Riddle (Miranda), brother, Charles Beatty (Gladys), brother-in-law, Rev. Lawrence Meogrossi and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Friday March 7, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Burial will be at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Pennsville Fishing Club, American Lung Association or the Marine Corps, Toys for Tots Program. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com.
