My father taught me about life; how to live it with humor and grace. We talked all the time, shared secrets and had conversations that always ended in "I love you". He had a wonderful way of always making your darkest days seem not so dark. He loved his family, he respected your privacy, he never judged. He was the funniest man I know and he could tell a joke like no one else. He loved to dance, garden and cook. When he was younger, he closed the bars down, he was the life of the party. I remember dancing with him at the musical bar as a young girl, crabbing, fishing, boating in Sea Isle and in the DE river. He would often hang deer in our front yard which was so embarrassing when the school bus would drop us. We raised rabbits in our yard, he would cut the heads off chickens on the back steps. Fishing was a passion, he would bring trashcans full of fish home from the bay and not know what to go with them all. We would drive around looking for snapper turtles so he could make his soup. He wore the funniest shirts and hats. He worked hard for his family, he loved his grandchildren. My dad was a proud man. He will always be my daddy. Thanks for the memories dad, it was a privilege and an honor to be your daughter. I love you, I miss you and I know you are still with me. Rest quietly and be at peace. XO

So many memories and 90% of them were in good fun. Like the time Papa was trying to cool the cow down by squirting him down with the hose and almost killing dad. I will always have a extra special place in my heart for you. I will miss many things about you. I love you. Its not goodbye for I will see you again at the gates. oxoxox

I never see a garden that I don't think of my Uncle Frank. He always let me know he loved me.
