Back in the 1960's I transferred into Central Park School from out of town due to my parent's recent divorce. Even though just in 3rd grade I was a very upset little boy. I would fake sickness, even left the school grounds once, but I remember, even to this day, how kind and gracious Mrs. Agnew was to me. She wasn't just professional, she really cared. Her little private talks were a soothing medicine for me back then and an encouragement to keep trying. I have a great memory of a beautiful person.
