Bruce P. Maahs, age 50 of Pennsville died Saturday May 4, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Wilmington, DE and is the son of Robert T. Sr. and Eileen Manning Maahs of Pennsville. Bruce was the police chief for the Pennsville Police Department and a lifelong Pennsville resident. Survived by his wife, Lori Elaine Chapman-Maahs, daughter, Macy Maahs, brother Robert T. Maahs, Jr. of Illinois, parents-in-law, Donald and Peggy Chapman, sister-in-law, Joni Cogan (Tom), brother-in-law, Donnie Chapman (Sari), nephew, Jeffrey Cogan, nieces Lindsay Cogan, Emily and Alissa Chapman. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday May 9, at the Christian Life Center, 670 S. Broadway, Pennsville where friends may call Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and again on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will be at the Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
