Chief Maahs was one of the officers that came to my house when my father had his stroke. My father died later that day at the hospital. Chief Maahs was kind and compassionate and I will never forget the comfort of his presence. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends, as they have lost a dear soul. May God keep you and bless you in this time of great sorrow.

To Lori and Macy - I recently had the pleasure to meeting Bruce through a community project and he graciously spent nearly 5 hours with me. His passion for his family, his job, his community, his track team and for always helping others was quickly evident within minutes of first sitting down with him.
I feel very fortunate to have spent the little amount of time I did with him. I am sure you have a whole vault full of incredible memories you will be able to draw from to help you through this incredible difficult time.
I am so sorry for your loss and the pain you're going through. I know, from my conversations with Bruce, that the two of you made him so happy and that he loved you both more than anything in this world. My thoughts and prayers are with you both and with your entire family during this very difficult time.

My memories of Bruce...Football in Colliers field. Racing our bikes up Harvard road. Snow days, snowball fights and watching him and Bob play football at Industrial park complex. Goofy grins coming my way every time we got a few minutes to talk. Super nice guy, never a bully. He was an inspiration to all of us in the Class of '81. Prayers of comfort for his family.
