It is with a heavy heart that I learned of Tom's passing. He was one of my favorite patrons during my time at the Pennsville Library
where he would tell stories of his beloved dog, Boz, or his deep interest of the American civil war.
He also told how he loved his children and grandchildren for family was very important to him.
I especially liked it when he referred to his son, Tim, as"Sport".
Tom would sometimes tease me that we were "mildly related" when he had married Sandy.
Sending my deepest sympathy to the White family. Blessings to all and to Tom.
Sincerely
Deborah Ecret

Very sorry to hear of Tom's passing.
I enjoyed being involved in Pennsville Soccer with Tom at the helm.
Always a good listener and energetic leader.

I am sorry to hear about Tom passing away.
Although I played baseball and softball and didn't care for soccer, Tom and I were always friends, friendly towards each other and laughed a million times together, "back in the day".
I was just telling a friend of mine about 3 weeks ago when we were on Wingate Drive,
"Out of all the people I can think of, nobody did more, or as much for the explosion, popularity and the love for the sport of soccer in this town, like Tom White did. I haven't seen him in years. He was always a great guy"
I wish that I would have seen him in these last few years.
Too me, Tom will always be,
"The Godfather of Pennsville Soccer"
