John T. Lucas, age 80 of Pennsville, NJ passed away suddenly on Monday September 21, 2020. He was born in Salem and was the son of the late Julian S. Lucas and Elizabeth Fisher Lucas. He was a proud Vietnam veteran of the United States Air Force and a past member of the Servicemen's Club of Carney's Point, NJ. He was a longtime employee of Airco in Pedricktown, NJ as a truck mechanic and retired from Harvey Mack Sales and Service, New Castle, DE. He was currently employed by Bayshore Ford of Pennsville, NJ. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Marian (LaPierre), daughters, Lisa Hopp (Robert) and Rhonda Milligan (Richard), grandchildren, Christopher, Lucas, Scott, and Kathryn, sisters, Barbara Zendler and Mary Swift and a brother, Paul Lucas Predeceased by a brother, Thomas Lucas. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Friday September 25th at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Pennsville, NJ where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior the service. Burial will follow at the Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the Salem County Humane Society. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com
