Alexander Simcizen, age 70 of The Villages, FL died Monday July 4, 2011 at the Cornerstone Hospice, The Villages, FL. Al was born March 27, 1941 in Shamokin, PA and was the son of the late Alexander Simcizen and Lillian Anascavage Simcizen Yanishak and step father Michael Yanishak. He was 1958 graduate of Shamokin High School. Al was a former longtime resident of Pennsville, NJ moving to Florida 7 years ago. He served in the Air Force and worked for the DuPont Company in Wilmington, DE where he retired. He is survived by a sister, Lorraine (Yanishak) Hukill and her husband William of Trevorton, PA, and a brother, Michael Yanishak of Harrisburg, PA, and several nieces and nephews Predeceased by his wife of 31 years, Carol Poeta Simcizen (2009) and a nephew William Hukill, Jr.Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Monday July 11th at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville, NJ where friends may call from 11:00 to 12:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
