Talona M. Emmons, age 64 of Pennsville, NJ died suddenly Monday May 4, 2020 at the Salem Medical Center, Mannington Township, NJ. She was born in Mannington Township and was the daughter of the late William H. and Sarah W. Webb Ricketts. Talona was a lifelong Pennsville resident. Along with her husband Russell C. Emmons, Jr. they owned and operated the Turnpike Inn in Carneys Point.
She is also survived by her two sons, Michael Ausland and Zachary Seager along with her siblings, Melvin Ivans, Harry Ricketts, Violetta D. York, Virginia Lee Velazquez, Faye Murray, Nancy K. Goland, Carl D. Ricketts, John W. Ricketts, Michael D. Ricketts, Teresa Scardino, three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by sisters, Grace Jordan, Emma Lowe, Barbara Ann Schneller, Lavina Gates and a brother William F. Ricketts.
Talona was a loving person and will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
A celebration of a life well lived will be held at a later date.
