Harold B. Wood (Woody), 91 passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Southgate Healthcare Center. Harold was born in Fairfield Township, Cumberland County New Jersey on September 11, 1928 to Charles and Maude (Davis) Wood. Harold was the youngest of 10 children. Harold married Frances (Githens) on November 5, 1949. Harold drove a tractor & trailer for over 50 years, and was a member of the Teamsters. Harold was also a member of Haines Neck United Methodist Church. Harold enjoyed all Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Philadelphia Eagles, NASCAR, and watching his grandchildren play and coach various sports. He enjoyed playing cards and having a cup of coffee with friends. Harold is survived by his wife, Frances, his son, Harold Bruce (Pete) (Beverly) and daughter, Ginger Borcky (Ricci) along with six grandchildren, Ryan Wood (Karin), Kenneth Wood (Samantha), Zachary Nolan (Samantha), Paige Borcky, Kaitlyn Borcky, and Alyssa Borcky, as well as 9 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister Helen Dolbow. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Monday November 11, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, One North Broadway, Pennsville, NJ where Family and friends are invited to call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service.
