Norman Gray Kingsley, age 91 of Quinton and a former resident to Dunedin, FL died Sunday June 5, 2011 at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. He was born in Baldwinsville, NY and was the son of the late Chester F. and Ella Welch Kingsley. Norman and his wife the late Lorraine M. Horner Kinglsey (April 14, 2011) owned and operated the Quinton Market until 1972. He was employed as a supervisor for the NJ Turnpike Authority where he retired. He was a WWII Army Veteran, volunteer fireman for the Quinton Fire Company, member of the VFW in FL, and a member of the Quinton United Methodist Church. He is survived by his daughter Mary Jo Powell of Pennsville, sons, Gary Grey Kingsley, Wilmington, DE Wayne N. Kingsley of MI, sisters, Wilma Mae, Ella Jane Christian, grandchildren, Travis Powell (Tracy), Melanie Powell (Daniel), and Angela Powell, great grandchildren, Briana Powell, Justin Powell, Cheyenne Wolbert, and Lane Wolbert. Besides his wife of 54 years Norman was predeceased by brothers, Chester F. Kingsley, Harold E. Kingsley, Wm. Ralph Kingsley and Gordon J. Kingsley and a son-in-law David Powell. Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Friday June 10th at the Laughrey Funeral Home Pennsville where friends may call from 6:00 to 7:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will be private.
