Ok Cha K. Stewart, age 78 of Mannington Township died Saturday June 8, 2019 at home. She was born in Pyonganpuk-do, Korea and was the daughter of Hyong Sik Kwak and Suk Cha Kim. Ok Cha married her husband, Robert W. Stewart, Jr. on December 7, 1966 in Korea and they built their home in Mannington Township in 1969. Ok Cha was employed as a Master Pattern Maker and a Seamstress for a number of companies in Salem County. She was a member of the Broadway United Methodist Church in Salem and enjoyed traveling and attending events with the Mannington Mills retiree club. Survived by her son John A. Stewart, daughter Suzanne E. Rose, daughter in law Maria E. Stewart, son in law Edwin D. Rose, grandchildren Christian Stewart, Nicholas Stewart, Madison Stewart, Daniel Rose and Caroline Rose. Predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Stewart, Jr. (2005). Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday June 13 at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the First Baptist Cemetery, Salem, NJ. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com.
