My condolences for the loss of your dear aunt and friend. May you find comfort in the scriptures during this difficult time. "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry, nor pain be anymore." Revelation 21:4

Miss Alber was my memories of growing up in Pedricktown both in school and out. Most people remember her as tough but she was such a loving person who would give a stranger her last dollar. Miss Albert gave her life in service to the community thru the ambulance squad and most of all to so many of us thru the school. It won't be Oldmans without her and the generationa to come will have lost put on an amazing woman and dedicated teacher. She was very much loved and will be missed. Prayers and thoughts to her dearest friends and family.

Miss.Alber was a wonderful person and teacher. She taught my sister and I in middle school. She always asked about us when she saw our mom after we graduated. She worked hard for her students and believed in what we could do. She was such a wonderful presence in Pedricktown. I am very blessed to have been taught by her. Rest In Peace Miss.Alber.

All I can say is that she was such a wonderful person! I have fond memories of her teaching me in Oldman’s Middle School way back. She had a booming voice that kept us in line. But her gruff voice was just a cover for how soft and tender she was on the inside. She knew that I lived a difficult childhood. I would often would fall asleep in class, exhausted from working in the fields and barn late but she would not wake me. She made sure I got the assignment before leaving and helped me if I needed it. She would let me go the bathroom when I first arrived at school so I could wash the dirt rings off my face, neck and arms. She somehow knew that we were not going to have much of a Christmas one year and showed up with presents for us. Another time we had just a few bags of ramen noodles and a couple of cans of soup in the pantry. She showed up with a pick up truck full of food, including a turkey. Ms. Alber had the biggest, kindest heart of anyone that I knew. I truly regret not looking her up sooner. I would have loved to tell her what an impact she had on me. All of her students were her kids and she looked after us like a mother hen. She will be dearly missed. Fly High Ms Alber!!

Deeply saddened when I heard the news yesterday. Ms. Alber was my teacher in the early 80s and then my son's teacher when he went to school. She was an asset to the school and to the Pedricktown community, and we will miss her tremendously. She always supported my son in his life journey and believed in him. I was fortunate to spend time with her 2017, and I am so grateful for that. My condolences to her family :(

Miss Alber was my 7th & 8th grade teacher at Pedricktiwn school in the early 70’s. My dad was stationed at the Pedricktown Missile Base. She was a great teacher with a great sense of humor. We moved back to Fort Benning Georgia in 1973 during my Freshman year at Penns Grove High School, but I always fondly remember my years at Pedricktown school, the teachers and the students!! Rest well dear lady.
