John R. "Jack" Wood, age 56 of Pennsville left this earthly domain for the peace and comfort of Heaven on Sunday May 1, 2011 at the South Jersey Health Care, Camden. Jack was born in Lynwood, CA and is the son of Marion Wood of FL and Earl "Jake" Wood of Pennsville. He was a longtime Pennsville resident and a 1973 graduate of Pennsville Memorial High School. Jack was an avid hunter, fisherman and biker enthusiast. He owned Jack's Welding of Pennsville. Besides his parents he is survived by a brother Fred Wood and his wife Dana, sisters, Terrie Leonard and her husband Patrick, and Penny Wood, nephews, David Zane, Jr., Jason Wood, Steven Wood, Robert Ortega, and niece Billie Jean Prevoznik. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A celebration of life will be held Saturday May 7th at the Pennsville Moose Lodge, Hook Rd., Pennsville from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contribution to the Jack Wood Fund, c/o Terrie Leonard, 3 Reed St. Pennsville, NJ 08070.
