Obituary of Ruth E Brown

Ruth Elizabeth Brown (ne) Crane, 88 peacefully passed in her home and was welcomed into the loving arms of God on October 6, 2018. Born on November3, 1929, to the Rev. Benjamin F. Crane and Elizabeth Rachel Crane (ne) Riley, she was a long time resident of the Salem County area.

Being a woman of faith, she sang and played piano and organ at many local churches, recently at the United Methodist Church in Deepwater, NJ.

Survived by her six children, Linda Trapp (ne) Craig, Darlene Eller (ne) Craig, Bonnie Craig, Harold Craig, Robin Snyder (ne) Gray and Cheryl Whitsett (ne) Gray, many grand and great grand Children, nephews and nieces.

Predeceased by both parents, her brothers William, Elmer, Ralph and Benjamin Crane, and her sister Angeline (Ann) Beatty (ne) Crane

She will be dearly missed by all by all that knew and loved her, but we celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her Lord and Savior. Graveside services will be held 11:00am Saturday October 13, 2018 at the Pittsgrove Presbyterian Cemetery.
