Marian J. Eyerman, age 78 of Pennsville died peacefully at her home on Monday April 25, 2011. She was born in Portsmouth, VA and was the daughter of the late Seron E. and Fannie A. Newsome Parker. Marian was a longtime Pennsville resident. She was a 1950 graduate of Penns Grove High School. Following High school she worked as a secretary in the corporate office of DuPont in Wilmington the worked at the Central Park Elementary School in Pennsville for 17 years and then went to work as a graphic designer for 6 years at the ICI of Americas, Wilmington. She was an active member of the Christian Life Center, Charter member of the Salem County Sportmans Club, enjoyed summers at Gandy's Beach, spending time with her friends and was an award winning painter and artist Survived by her son Steven P Eyerman (Judy) of Pennsville, brother, Robert Parker of Pennsville, grandchildren, Eric M. Eyerman, Natalie Ann Eyerman, Paul M. Eyerman. Predeceased by her husband, John F. Eyerman (2004) son, John M. Eyerman brother, Ervin S. Parker, Sr., grandson, Mark P. Eyerman. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday April 29th at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday. Burial will be at the All Saints Cemetery, Newark, DE.
