Ann Laughrey Rohrer, 88 of Brick passed away on March 30, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Camden she was raised in Haddonfield. She spent the last 46 years in Brick with her family and many friends. Ann was the founder and operator of Best Darn Foods for 25 years before her daughter continued her legacy. Ann was predeceased by her parents John David and Marion Laughrey, her brother Robert Laughrey and sister-in-law Margaret Laughrey. She is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years Mark, son Jay, of Brick, daughter Nancy Furnback and husband Douglas, of Point Pleasant, two grandchildren, Daniel Furnback and wife Ashley of Brick, Wesley Furnback and wife Jessica of Point Pleasant and one great grandson Maverick of Brick. Also, a niece Katharine Moore and husband Leonard and nephew John Laughrey and wife Deborah all of Pennsville as well as many great nieces and nephews. Ann was a member of the Metedeconk chapter of "Questers" and the "Gulls On The Go" where she shared many outings and trips with cherished friends that will be forever in her heart. Funeral services will be held on 6:00 PM on Monday April 2nd at the Colonial Funeral Home 2170 Highway 88, Brick, NJ 08742 where family and friends a may call from 4:00 to 6:00 PM prior to the service. Burial of cremains will be private.
