Lorraine M. Kingsley, age 79, of Quinton, NJ and a former resident of Dunedin, Florida, died Thursday April 14th, 2011 at the Southgate Nursing Home in Carneys Point, NJ surrounded by family. Born in Bridgeton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Nellie (White) Horner. Lorraine and her husband, Norm Kingsley owned and operated the Quinton Market until 1972. She was a volunteer for the Quinton Fire Company, a member of the Quinton United Methodist Church, and a member of the Pythian Sisters of Damona Temple. She enjoyed bingo, pinochle, cross-stitch, dinner parties and cooking for her family. She is survived by her by her husband of 54 years, Norman, daughter Mary Jo Powell, grandchildren Travis Powell (Tracy), Melanie Powell (Daniel), and Angela Powell, great-grandchildren Briana Powell, Justin Powell, Cheyenne Wolbert, and Lane Wolbert, sisters Donna Brunner and Donna "Cookie" Stevens (Jim), brothers Millard Horner (Jean), and Curtis Horner (Gina) and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was pre-deceased by her sisters Jean Richmond and Betty Lou Mowers and son-in-law David Powell. Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Monday April 18th, at the Laughery Funeral Home, Pennsville, NJ where friends may call from 6-7pm prior to the service. Burial will be private.
