Obituary of Michael D. Vitale, Sr.

Michael D. Vitale, age 63 of Pennsville died Monday June 12, 2017 at and his residence. He was born in Newark, NJ and lived on 7th St., Newark, NJ and was the son of the late Incoranado and Florence Vitale of Bellville, NJ. He was the dedicated husband and father to wife, Cheryl Ann Vitale and sons Michael, Jr. and Peter. He was married to Cheryl for over 30 years. He was currently employed as an Information Technology professional for 26 years at PSE&G Nuclear, Artificial Island. He enjoyed his work and working with his co-workers. Graduate of Salem Community College with an AS in Information Technnology. Besides his wife and children he is survived by sistes, Annette Mullen, Margie Vitale and brother Patrick Vitale, sister In-Laws: Arline Ubl, Patricia Thall, Nina Lineberger and brother-in law Charles G. Lineberger, Jr., nieces and nephews: Anthony Tretola, Lisa Tretola-Slegel, Robert Mullen, Angela Vitale, Stephen Vitale, Joseph Vitale, Melissa Ubl, Angelina Pisarski, Marty Thall, Samatha Thall, and Gloria Lynn fiancé of Marty Thal, great nieces and great nephews: Anthony Tretola, Jr., Lilly Tretola-Slegel, and Nicholas Tretola. Michael supported the community as a CCD teacher and Pennsville Midget Football Coach. His current hobby was medieval archery and was a member of the Shire of Barren Sands, Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. Funeral services will be held 7:30 PM Friday June 16, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 6:00 to 7:30 PM prior to the service.
