Joseph S. Mowers, age 72 of Pennsville passed away peacefully at home on Friday December 30, 2016. He was born in Salem and was the son of the late Leon and Thelma Mowers of Quinton. Joe is survived by his wife Linda (Griffith), brother, Doc (Faye) Mowers, daughters, Kim (Rich) Evans, Gail (Jeff) Rappa, grandchildren, Stephanie (Greg), Rich (Kara), Dane (Kendall), Steve (Desiree), Dana, Shawn, Josh, 5 great grandchildren and Many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his first wife, Betty Lou (Horner) and stepdaughter, Marie.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday January 7, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Overlook Cemetery, Bridgeton, NJ.
