Jacqueline S. "Jackie" DiMarzio, age 87 of Pennsville, died Friday October 28, 2016 at the Merion Gardens Assisted Living, Carneys Point, NJ. She was born in Ridgway, PA and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Elizabeth Levinson Salberg. Jackie was a long time Pennsville resident. She was employed as physical education and health teacher for the Pennsville School District where she retired in 1990 following many years service. She was a 1947 graduate of Penns Grove High School and received her bachelor's degree from Marshall University in 1951. While at Pennsville Memorial High school, Jackie and Betsey Salberg co-coached the girls hockey team and led them to an undefeated season and state championship in 1982. She was a volunteer for the Memorial Hospital of Salem County Auxillary, Pennsville Library, Pennsville Historical Society, She was a past member of the Salem Country Club and the Sakima Country Club. She finally met the love of her life, David J. Dimarzio and were married for 33 years. She is also survived by her daughters, Kim Willey of Wilmington, DE, and Kyle Willey Gorman and her husband Albert of Middletown, DE and a son, Scott E. Willey of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, two grandsons Aaron Gorman and his wife Beth and Ryan Gorman and his wife Katie. 2 great granddaughters, and sister in law Betsey Salberg. Predeceased by a brother, David Salberg. Services will be private.
