Obituary of Margaret Marie Melnick

Margaret M. Melnick (nee Gray) of Pennsville, NJ passed away peacefully on September 10, 2016 at Merion Gardens Assisted Living facility, Carneys Point with her family by her side. Margaret was born in Centralia, PA on October 12, 1934 to the late Andrew and Ida (Blass) Gray. Margaret formerly worked the Legion Dress Company in Centralia, PA, Hansman Dolls in Trenton, NJ and Lady Jane Manufacturing in Mount Carmel, PA. In Margaret's early years she enjoyed following her husband and the Night Club Band he was a member of. Margaret also enjoyed painting ceramics, playing cards and going to bingo with her many friends. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Pennsville and the Joy Circle. Margaret and Andy were very well known for their numerous crab and garage parties. Margaret is survived by her three children: Randy (Donna) Melnick, Sandra (Steve) Tyson and Andrew (Maryanne) Melnick, Jr.; six grandchildren: Amy Edwards, Sharon Ruggiero , David Melnick, Bonnie Brawn, Karlie Eachus and Kyle Melnick along with several great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Andrew G. Melnick, Sr. sister, Mary Klingerman, and a brother Carl Gray. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday September 14, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown.
