Margaret M. Hilyard, age 91 went home to be with the Lord on April 1, 2016, she was born in Penns Grove, and was the daughter of the late Joseph D. and Marie C. Hopkins Mahoney. Peggy was a lifelong Salem County resident.
She was a longtime Member of the Queen of the Apostles RC Church, Pennsville.
Survived by her daughters, Peggy MacArthur and her husband Richard, Diana H. Campbell and her husband, Soupy, and Mary Adams, 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and her beloved dog Molly.
Predeceased by her loving husband Lester F. Hilyard (2013), sisters, Cecilia Mahoney, and Patricia "Julia" Mahoney.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Thursday April 7, at the St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, Queen of the Apostles Church. Friends may call Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville prior to the Mass.
