Arnold E. Light, age 80 of Pennsville died Monday February 15, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Sommers County, WV and was the son of the late Cyrus H. and Mae R Brammen Light. Arnie was a longtime Pennsville resident. He worked as a produce manager for the former Pantry Pride in Penns Grove and also as a custodian for the Pennsville Public School System. Survived by his children, Patricia A. Gardner and her husband of Ronald of Pennsville, Tara Galloway and her husband Mark of Sacramento, CA, grandchildren, Molly Gardner, Ian Galloway Kathrine Durbin and her husband Nick and Patrick Galloway, and a very special friend, Josephine Williams. Predeceased by his wife of 45 years Joan Patricia (Patsy) Oberholtzer Light and a son Arnold E. Light, Jr., brothers, Stanley, Cecil Light, sisters, Beatrice Dudgeon and Bernice Episcopo. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday February18, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 PA prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Memorial Home, Health and Hospice, 290 N. Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070
