Verndina (Vera) Clark, age 76, passed away from her battle with Alzheimer's on November 3rd, 2015 while at Southgate Nursing Home. Vera was born June 4, 1939 in Salem County NJ to Annie and Thomas Marshall Cagle. Predeceased by her brother Manson Cagle, brother Cash Cagle, and sister Jeannie Homan. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard L. Clark Sr. Also predeceased by her daughter Darlene Clark. Survived by daughter, Joannie Sauermilch married to William Sauermilch III, son Richard Clark Jr. married to Tammy Birch-Clark, daughter Tammy Moore married to Scott Moore, 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Vera used her time here to care for her family. She loved being with her children and grandchildren. It was rare if you see her without a big smile on her face. If music was playing, she was dancing! Vera was an amazing crafter. She could make treasure out of trash right before your eyes. In the warmer weather her and her husband enjoyed fishing. Vera and her family would move back and forth from New Jersey to Indiana and back again. Viewing services are being held at Laughrey Funeral Home in Pennsville on Thursday November 5th, from 6pm to 7pm. Vera will be buried with her husband in Indiana. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Vera's name to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org She lived, she loved, and she laughed. Because of her we live, we love and we laugh.
