Mary Driver Kellmyer died on September 6, 2015 after a brief illness. Mary was born in Woodstown NJ in 1923 to the late Charles and Mary Gerlack Driver. Her father was a respected businessman in Woodstown and her maternal grandparents were owners of the Gerlack house in the Woodstown historic district. She was a 1941 graduate of Woodstown High School and attended Trenton State College. After marrying, Mary lived in Pennsville her entire life before moving to North Jersey to be closer to her daughter, Diane. She was a devoted mother and wife. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, antiquing and reading. She had a caring nature, always a kind word and loved to make people laugh. She was a long-time parishioner of Trinity United Methodist Church in Pennsville. She is predeceased by her husband with whom she was married to for over 50 years, Leon "Gus" Kellmyer who died in 1998 and by a sister Anna Driver Gaunt. She is survived by her daughter Diane Kellmyer (Eric Wood) in Union City, NJ and son Stephen Kellmyer in Sequim, WA. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM on Wednesday September 16, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Burial will be at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Pennsville Visiting Nurses Assoc. or Meals on Wheels of Salem County. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com
