Barbara Zeli, age 61 of Pennsville succumbed to her 4-year battle with ovarian cancer on Thursday, July 23, 2015. She was born in Salem and was the daughter of the late Norman G. and Anna E. Pape Durham. Barb was a graduate of Pennsville Memorial High School. She worked for Salem Community College and was an office professional for Dr. Barry Blitzenstein's dental practice in Penns Grove. But her most important role was as a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her husband of 42 years Anthony "Tony" Zeli, originally from Penns Grove, and two sons Michael Zeli of Pearland, TX, and Anthony Zeli of Portland, ME. She is also survived by brothers and sisters Glendon "Butch" Durham, Harry Durham, Ronald "Pete" Durham, Elizabeth Jones, Sharon English, and a half sister, Doris Martell. Predeceased by a half brother, Robert Reed. A memorial service will be held at the Laughrey Funeral Home in Pennsville at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service.
