William W. Summerill, Jr. age 84 of Pennsville died Friday June 19, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Penns Grove and was the son of the late William W. Summerill, Sr. and Freda M Damman Summerill. Bill was a lifelong Salem County resident.
He owned and operated the Summerill Reality Company in Pennsville for over 40 years. He was a Korean War Army Veteran and a longtime member of the Pennsville VFW. He received is Bachelors Degree from Rutgers University. Bill was especially fond of the time he spent at Stone Harbor during his college years as a lifeguard.
Survived by his daughter, Michelle L. Summerill (Michael Hitchner) of Pennsville and a sister, Katherine Madole of Pennsville.
Predeceased by a sister, Barbara Caldwell.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
