Delores E. Fisher, age 78 of Pennsville died Monday May 18, 2015 at the St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington, DE. She was born in Salem and was the daughter of the late Milton and Mary Myers Zimmerman.
Survived by her daughters, Doris Carder (Larry), Jody Fisher, Jackie Layton, brothers, Clinton and Lawrence Zimmerman (Debbie), sister, Mildred Pharo (Ben), 3 grandchildren, Jennifer Lindell (Butch) Chris Hovis, and Brianna Layton and 3 great grandchildren, William Smith, Devon Smith and Alyssa Lindell and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband John E. Fisher and a brother, Charles Zimmerman and stepfather, Norris Keen.
She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Pennsville. She enjoyed playing the organ for several local churches, crocheting, and reading.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday May 21, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery, Pilesgrove. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com
