Obituary of Paul C. Newsome, Sr.

Paul C. "Kip" Newsome, Sr., 81 of Pennsville, NJ passed away, surrounded by loved ones, on April 16, 2015. Kip was born to William and Evelyn George Newsome of Pennsville. Kip served in the United States Army and went on to work for DuPont Chambers Works where he retired from in 1997. Kip enjoyed spending time outside hunting, fishing or just relaxing in his back yard. He also enjoyed going to auctions to find great deals on anything from food to home goods to unnecessary junk for everyone else but himself. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mable Griffith Newsome; son Paul "Skeeter" Newsome, Jr (Sherry Sassi) of Pennsville and daughter Tammy Falen (Scott) of Elsinboro; his grandchildren Derek and Darcey Falen of Elsinboro and David Langley and Kristen Sauer Rodriguez of Carneys Point; 4 great-grandchilren; brother William Newsome, sister Joyce Newsome Raleigh, and sisters-in-law Carla Lamonte Newsome, Donna Diehl Newsome and Florence Griffith Pomper; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by brothers Earl and Marvin Newsome and sister-in-law Velma Stewart Newsome.
