Kenneth J."Kenny" Pennington, age 80 of Pennsville died Friday April 3, 2015 at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. He was born in Salem, NJ and was the son of the late Joseph and Ruth Ward Pennington. Kenny was a lifelong Pennsville resident.
He was employed as a Millwright at the DuPont Chambers Works, Deepwater where he retired in 1992 following 40 years service. He was a Korean War Army Veteran stationed in Germany.
Survived by his wife of 60 years Barbara A. Reed Pennington, sons, Jay Pennington (Peggy) Robert Pennington (Rhonda) and a daughter Kim Roberts (John), brothers Bing Pennington (Anna), and Wayne Pennington (Pat), 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
Predeceased by a son, Michael Pennington, brother, Barry Pennington and a sister, Madelyn Woodside.
Private graveside services will be held at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com
