Helen Smith (nee Stellman) 89 passed away on Sunday, March 29th at Southgate Health Care Center, Carneys Point, NJ. Helen was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, William (Bill) Smith. Devoted mother of son, Richard Smith (Fay) and daughter Katherine Alibrando (Sal). Loving grandmother to Mike Alibrando, Matt Alibrando (Cindy), Mark Alibrando (Andrea), Michelle Smith Shiles (Scott), and Ray Fogg. Great Grandmother to Damien, Dakota, Sammy, Mia, Gigi, Nate, Cody, and Daulton. Helen's passions in life were her God, Church, watching Lawrence Welk every Saturday night, the 80s Phillies (especially yelling at Mitch Williams), playing Bingo, and most especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved so very deeply. A funeral service will be held 11:00am Tuesday, April 7th at the Laughrey Funeral Home, One North Broadway, Pennsville, NJ where relatives and friends may call Monday from 7:00 to 9:00pm and Tuesday from 10:00am to 11:00am prior to the service. Burial will be at the Woodbury Memorial Park, Woodbury, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salem County Center for Autism, 390 N. Broadway #1200, Pennsville, NJ 08070.
