Randy G. Congleton, a long time resident of Pennsville, New Jersey, passed away Wednesday afternoon at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. He was 56. Randy was born to the late Vernon and Jane (Newhard) Congleton on November 8th, 1958 in Memphis, TN. He graduated Pennsville Memorial High in 1977. Randy joined the Navy in 1978 and honorably completed a four year enlistment stationed onboard the USS Comte De Grasse (DD-974). He also worked for many years at Penn Bowl. Randy was a devoted father, brother, and son. Randy is survived by his sons: Billy and Steven; as well as his brothers: Bill Berger, Brian, Richard, Vernon (Jr), Christopher, and Andrew Congleton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Cancer Society. A military burial will take place at 1:00 pm at Finn's Point National Cemetery, 454 Ft Mott Rd, Pennsville, NJ, Monday, March 16,2015 followed by a Celebration of Life at the Pennsville VFW, 171 South Broadway, Pennsville, NJ from 2:30 - 5:00 pm.
