Margaret L. Lloyd, age 89, died February 16, 2015 with her entire immediate family at her side. Margaret lived at Friends Village, Woodstown, NJ for the past five years after spending a vast majority of her life as a Pennsville, NJ resident.
She was born in Roxborough, PA on 9/25/25, and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Manning Littel. She is the mother of Thomas J. Lloyd of Fayetteville, NC and Dr. Patrick Lloyd (Lisa) of Pennsville and also survived by brothers John (Jack) Littel (Barbara) and Thomas (Joan-deceased) and sister Catherine (Cass) and Leon (deceased). She was predeceased by her husband Wallace Lloyd (2006), sister Mary (Steve) and infant brother William. Three grandchildren, Thomas II, Wallace and Quentin, numerous nieces and nephews.
She attended St. James grammar and high school and enjoyed playing bridge, cross-stitch and numerous volunteer activities. Founding member of Queen of the Apostles Church in Pennsville.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM on Friday Feb. 20, at the Queen of the Apostles RC Church, S. Broadway Pennsville, NJ. Friends may call from 8:30 to 9:30 AM prior to Mass at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville. Burial will be at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery, Pilesgrove.
