Obituary of Janet V. Beveridge

Janet Virginia Beveridge, a longtime resident of Pennsville, New Jersey, died quietly in her home on Friday, February 13, 2015. She was born in Pedricktown, New Jersey, on November 13, 1939, daughter of James Howard Farris and Lillian (Connelly) Farris. She was predeceased by her parents as well as her brother James Farris. Janet is survived by her loving husband, Irving Beveridge; her son Ronald and wife Laura of Carney's Point, her son Bruce of Northeast MD, and her daughter Stacie and husband Melvin of Pennsville NJ. In addition, Janet is survived by four grandchildren, Jordan, Logan, Dalton, and Kevin. In addition, her devoted sister, Barbara Nixon of Carneys Point. Janet took great pride in working her way through the ranks with Super Fresh Super Markets after she spent many years as a stay at home mom. Janet was well loved by her family who greatly appreciated her ability to prepare delicious meals and through the years she loved hosting many family gatherings. She enjoyed working in her yard and delighted in creating beautiful flower beds to adorn her home she loved so much. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a viewing that will be held at Laughery Funeral Home, One North Broadway, Pennsville, NJ, on Tuesday, February 17 starting at 10:00 AM followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM.
