Jeffrey L. Hewitt, Jr. age 44 of Pennsville passed away at the Christiana Hospital after a 10 month battle with cancer, surrounded by loving family and friends. He was born in Mannington Twp., and lived most of his life in Pennsville. He earned an Associate's Degree in Biology from Salem Community College, a BA Degree in Information Technology from Immaculata University and numerous technology certificates. He dedicated 15 years to JP Morgan Chase in Wilmington. He is survived by his devoted wife Regina (Hobson) Hewitt and adoring daughters Katherine and Julia Hewitt. He is also survived by his brother Shawn Patrick Hewitt and his wife Donna (Forte) Hewitt, Niece, Alyse and a nephew, Gavin, Mother, Ava Freeman of Elmer and Father Jeffrey L. Hewitt, Sr. of Salem. He was a devoted father, husband, brother, son and worker. Jeffrey enjoyed fishing, home improvement, bird watching, Cowboys football, and cheering on his daughter at dance. A memorial Mass will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at the Queen of the Apostles RC Church, Pennsville. Friends may call Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM in the Church Hall. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers please make donations to a trust fund established to support the education for his daughters, Katherine and Julia.
