Obituary of Paul R. Nelson

Paul R. Nelson passed on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at his home. He was born on Christmas day and was 90 years of age. He resided in Stowe Creek. Graduate of PGHS. He was a farmer, Timber broker, and had a gravel pit, along with a sawmill. He was born in Port Deposit, Maryland. Paul moved to New Jersey at the age of 10. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean (2/14), parents William/ Harriet Nelson, brother Clyde and a grandson. Surviving are his daughter Paula Nelson, son Bob Nelson who faithfully took care of him. There are five grandchildren, and several great grandchildren, and a sister, Jean Davis.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Monday August 18, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Lawnside in Woodstown.
