Charles A. "Chuck" Ross, 79 of Pennsville died Monday May 26, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Gloucester, NJ and was the son of the late David and Mary Giberson Ross. Chuck was a longtime Pennsville resident and was a 1953 graduate of Salem High School
He was employed as Police Officer for the Pennsville Police Department where he retired in 1984 following 25 years service. He was a Marine Corps Veteran, Second Marine Division, Second Tank Battalion stationed out of Camp Lejeune, NC.
Survived by his sons, David Allen Ross and Andrew Ross and his wife Charmain, sister, Mary Margaret Taylor grandchildren, Jason Ross, Andrew Charles Ross, Dylan Victor Ross, Giannie Ross and Brianna Ross.
Predeceased by his wife Elaine Levitsky Ross (2012)
Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday May 31, at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown.
