Wallace S. Buskirk, Jr. age 85 of Pennsville died Friday May 2, 2014 at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. Wally was born in Madison, WI and was the son of the late Wallace S. Buskirk, Sr., and Fern Fouts Buskirk. He was longtime Pennsville resident. He was employed as a supervisor for the DuPont Chambers Works, Deepwater where he retired following 36 years of service. Following his retirement he owned and operated a canvas shop out of the shop behind his home where he custom made awnings, boat covers and everything else that needed sewing. He was a Korean War Veteran and served in Germany for the 7th Army. Wally is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Constance Adams Buskirk, and his four children and their spouses, Wallace Scott Buskirk, III (Debbie Segrell), Terri Rhodes (Robert Rhodes), Cindy Redefer (Chris Redefer), Daniel Buskirk (Keri Farrow) and 6 grandchildren (Alex, Emily & William Rhodes, Katie & Christopher Redefer and Nathaniel Buskirk). He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Buskirk and a sister, Phyllis Boyle. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday May 8, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com.
