Lewis K. Wood, Sr., age 58 of Pennsville died Saturday April 26, 2014 at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. He was born in Wilmington, DE and was the son of the late Alfred R. Jr. and Evelyn Mae Martin Wood McLaren. He was a lifelong Pennsville resident.
He was employed as a union painter and was a US Marine Corps Veteran.
Survived by his wife Ethel M. Crumb Wood, children, Holly Wood Sherman, Kenneth Wood (April), Deborah Cheeseman (Craig), Lewis Wood, Jr. (Laura) and Kimberly Wood, Step Children, Monica Crumb, Tanya Mathis, and Robert Mathis, Brother, Kenneth Wood (Tammy) and a sister Diana Sapero (Billy), 15 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by a brother, Barry Wood, and stepfather, Don McLaren, Stepson, David Mathis.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Monday May 5, at the Finns Point National Cemetery, Pennsville. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com
