George W. Bradbury Jr "Brad" of Pennsville passed away peacefully at home on Sunday April 27, 2014. Pre deceased by his parents George W. Sr. & Ruth Vaughn Bradbury. Brad was raised in Alloway and graduated from Woodstown High School in 1957. Brad worked at the family brickyard in Alloway before beginning his career as a truck driver. Brad drove primarily for Chemical Leman Tank Lines. He was a lifelong boater, often cruising the Alloway and Salem Creeks and the inter-coastal waterways. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He is survived by his two sisters, Barbara Remster of Alloway and Janice Dragnett of Bradenton, Fla. His children; daughter Beverly (Patrick) of Quinton, daughter Elizabeth "Beth" (Rene) of Texas and his Son George III "Butch" (Michele) of Alloway. Grandchildren; George IV "Brad", William "Bill", Ian, Thomas, Travis, Brian & Rebecca. 11 Great-grandchildren. Step children; Brenda Hobbs, Donald Newsome, Heather Heil (Kevin), & Kristen Smith (Paul), and 4 step-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Donna and son Brian. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM on Thursday May 1, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 12:00 to 1:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Alloway Methodist Cemetery, Alloway. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com.
