Jane (Bennett) Hurt, age 89 of Rose Street, Grafton, WV (formerly of Pennsville, NJ) passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the Rosewood Health Care Center. She was born October 1, 1924 in Wilmington, New Castle, DE and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Irene Ralston Bennett. She is survived by one daughter, Nancy H. Reneau and husband, Jim of Grafton; four grandchildren, Jennifer Hurt Briganti and husband, Charlie of Kingwood, TX, Rick Hurt and wife, Erin of Humble, TX, Jeremy Reneau of Bridgeport, WV, and Kelly Reneau Collins and husband, Sean of Cincinnati, OH; one great-grandson, Jack Walker Hurt; and one daughter-in-law, Juanita Hurt of Kingwood, TX. In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Silvers Hurt and one son, Richard Jack Hurt. Jane worked as a business secretary for the Pennsville, NJ School District and was a member of the Bridgeport United Methodist Church and formerly of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Pennsville, NJ. Jane enjoyed visiting her grandchildren and traveling. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday April 19, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service.
