Mildred F. McCarson-Dorsey, beloved wife, mom, grandmom and sister in law passed away on Tuesday April 8, 2014 at the Golden Rehabilitation Center, Mannington. Mildred was borne in Bridgeport, NJ, graduated from Paulsboro High school in 1941. Married William H. Dorsey in 1943 and spent her life in Pennsville close to her family. She was a lifetime member of the Pennsville VFW Post 1952 Womens Auxillary, Sportman's Club, Pennsville Sunshine Seniors, several travel clubs and the Visiting Homemakers. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Mildred was predeceased by her husband "Billy" in May 2006 and sister in Law, Marie J Miller (2014) and is survived by: sisters in law, Edith McCarson, Barbara McCarson and many nieces and hephews, her children, Lorraine Pobanz and husband Emerson of West Deptford, Robert Dorsey and his companion Julie Merrylees of Elsinboro, 3 grandchildren, Bobby Dorsey and his wife Kelly, Jennifer Aldana and her husband Jose, Brett Dorsey and his wife Leslie of Pennsville, 5 great grandchildren, Brooke, Andrea, and Paige Dorsey, Austin and Alyssa Aldana, and Ryan Dorsey. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Monday April 14, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery, Pilesgrove, NJ. The family suggests the contributions be made to the Pennsville VFW Post 1952, S.
