Marie J. Miller, age 90 of Pennsville passed away on Friday February 28, 2014 at the Golden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Mannington. She was born in Philadelphia and was the daughter of the late William H. and Marie Stafford Dorsey.
She worked during World War II at the DOD (Delaware Ordinance Depot) in Pedricktown until meeting her husband Herman and were married in 1946. Marie was an active member of the Pennsville Bowling Leagues. She enjoyed her quiet life with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones.
Survived by her sister-in-law, Mildred Dorsey who still resides at the Golden Rehab, Niece, Lorraine Pobanz, nephew, Robert Dorsey, great niece, Jennifer and great nephews, Bobby and Brett, 6 great, great nieces, and a nephew. Our family has been lifelong residents of Pennsville.
Predeceased by her husband, W. Herman Miller, and a brother, William Dorsey.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM on Thursday March 6, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 12:00 to 1:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com
