Larry W. Peterson, age 50 of Pennsville passed away on Sunday February 16, 2014 at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County following a short illness. Born in Salem, he was a lifelong Pennsville resident. Larry is the son of Alberta Smith Peterson of Pennsville and the late Lawrence "Pete" Peterson. He graduated from Pennsville Memorial High School in 1982 and was employed by Curry Construction and Shimps Hardware. Larry was an avid Phillies fan and enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles. He was also a Minnesota Vikings Fan and loved the Three Stooges He is survived by a brother, Ronald Peterson of Pennsville; two sisters Nancy Peterson of Alexandria, VA and Trudie Peterson Cornman and her husband Bob of Pennsville, nieces Heather Curry Seitz, Dawn Curry and nephew Jared Cornman along with his family at Curry Construction. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday February 21, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville, followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
