Georgette Eileen VanNimwegen, age 56 of Quinton died Monday February 3, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Johnstown, PA and is the daughter of Andrew P. Glendon of Zepher Hills, FL and the late Mary Maloy Glenden. She was a longtime Salem County resident. She was a self employed horse breeder and owned and operated the Briar Notch Farm in Quinton along with her husband of 36 years John "Jack" C. VanNimwegen for 25 years. She was a past member of the American Driving Society (ADS), member of the Arabian and Thoroughbred Associations. She always helped her friends in need as a horse cargiver. Besides her husband and father she is survived by a sister, Mariann Glendon of Bruceton Mills, WV. Predeceased by a brother, Terry Glendon. Funeral services will be held 8:00 PM Friday Feb. 7 at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Quinton Fire Department, Bridgeton Salem Pike , Quinton, NJ 08072.
