Dolores (DeeDee) Parizzi Scull, age 75 of Pennsville entered eternal life Friday, November 22, 2013, at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. Born in Camden to the late Ernest and Ida Parizzi (nee Nilsen), DeeDee was a lifelong Salem County resident. She was a dedicated and caring teacher in the Pennsville School District, where she retired in 2008 after 27 years of service. She touched the lives of all of her students. To this very day, each and every student held a special place in her heart. Before changing career paths, she was employed as a secretary at the DuPont Company for 17 years, and during high school she worked at Riverview Beach Park. She was a member of the 1955 graduating class of Salem High School. She graduated from Goldey Beacom in 1956 and Glassboro State College in 1978. DeeDee was a member of the Queen of the Apostles Church of Pennsville. DeeDee was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be missed by all. She was a woman who touched the life of everyone she met in a special way. Predeceased by her husband Paul H. Scull, Sr. of 46 years. Survived by her son Paul H. Scull, Jr., his wife Lanie M. Scull of Monroe Township, NJ, her grandson Brendan Conner Scull of Washington Twp., NJ, her granddaughter Kaleigh Alyssa Moon-Trent of Monroe Township, N.J., sister Joan P. Aveni of Glassboro, brother and sister-in-law Ernest and Patty Parizzi of Vienna Virginia, and a sister-in-law Patricia A. Griffith of Carney's Point. Nephews; Christopher Aveni, Howard Griffith, Raymond Griffith, Jerry Griffith and William Griffith and Nieces; Marie Parizzi, Diane Parizzi, Jessica Lovegrove, and Jaime Farland as well as several great nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at 12:00 PM at the Queen of the Apostles Roman Catholic Church, 391 S. Broadway, Pennsville followed by burial at the Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 11:45 AM at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville, NJ.
