Emily Ruth Griner Swift, age 85 of Pennsville formerly of Fairton died Thursday November 21, 2013 at the Southgate Nursing Home, Carneys Point. She was born in Bridgeton and was the daughter of the late William and Hazel (Dixon) Griner.
She worked as an inspector for Leones Glass and Owens Illinois Glass in Bridgeton where she retired in 1993 following 26 years.
Survived by her daughter, Patricia A. Durham (Ronald Sr,) of Pennsville, granddaughter, Patricia A. Alfinito (Peter) of Mickleton, grandson, Ronald L. Durham, Jr. of Pennsville, 4 sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday Nov. 24 at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will be private.
